Serving in Love <3

Most of you have been involved in my life for many years now and you have been such a precious influence in my life. In different ways, you have each had an impact on my life and have furthered my growth with the Lord. I believe that it was through my relationships with you that made me who I am today. My faith and love is now stronger that it ever has been and it is because of my amazing brothers and sisters in Christ. I know I may not have been the best with keeping in contact all the time but I do think and pray for you all often!

"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
Proverbs 17:17

"Therefore as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another, forgive as the Lord forgave you and over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."
Colossians 3:12-14

Since September, I've been attending a Community Transformations DTS with YWAM in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and have been radically transformed by a new revelation of God's love. I know my calling is to advance the kingdom of God in my generation and see restoration in the eyes who are blinded by the world. I am passionate about sharing this love; a love that surpasses knowledge; a love that completely satisfies and comforts the heart. I want to make it known that everyone is loved by a perfect lover who's heart is ravished when our hearts gaze at his glory.

"You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace. How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much more pleasing is your love than wine."
Song of Solomon 4:9-10

"God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him."
1 John 4:16

"This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith."
1 John 5:2-4

I will be leaving, with a team of 12, for Amsterdam mid-December. We have been spending time in intercession and prayer; receiving words from God for us and his plan for this city that calls itself "the most tolerant city in the world." Our team has become a family (AKA the Amsterdamily!) and I believe God is going to use our light to shine in this dark city. God's love for this city has been engraved in our hearts. We will be partnering with what YWAM is doing in the Red Light district (working with men and women involved in sex trafficking), the House of Prayer, and dance ministry. We may also be working with the arts; which is a huge influence in the city of Amsterdam.

"Be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, He should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."
1 Peter 4:7-11

"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."
1 John 2:2

We are serving because of his love. I want you all to be a part of this mission. I have received my plane ticket but I am still in need of $3,500 for housing and food in Amsterdam. I know many of you may be feeling unable to help with much, but please know every dollar counts and every cent is you investing into the kingdom and releasing me to walk out in the call the Lord has on my life. Keep Amsterdam and our team in your prayers!

"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and our vats will brim over with new wine."
Proverbs 3:9-10

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."
Malachi 3:10

he carries me into rest

after a full day
my body exhausted
my mind drifting away into space
my Father picks me up
and my head lays on his shoulder
i hear his heart beat
mine begins to synchronize
his hand moves my hair from my face
he kisses my head
he carries me up the stairs
lies me down on my bed
opens the window
a cool breeze fills the room
the wind full of angels
pulling the covers up to my neck
he sits there
caressing my back
serenades me to sleep
i then rest in his love

One Love - Bob Marley

One Love, One Heart
Let's get together and feel all right
Hear the children crying (One Love)
Hear the children crying (One Heart)
Sayin' give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right
Sayin' let's get together and feel all right

Let them all pass all their dirty remarks (One Love)
There is one question I'd really like to ask (One Heart)
Is there a place for the hopeless sinner
Who has hurt all mankind just to save his own?
Believe me

One Love, One Heart
Let's get together and feel all right
As it was in the beginning (One Love)
So shall it be in the end (One Heart)
Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right
One more thing

Let's get together to fight this Holy Armageddon (One Love)
So when the Man comes there will be no no doom (One Song)
Have pity on those whose chances grove thinner
There ain't no hiding place from the Father of Creation

Sayin' One Love, One Heart
Let's get together and feel all right
I'm pleading to mankind (One Love)
Oh Lord (One Heart)

Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right
Let's get together and feel all right

Dancing

This everlasting beating heart moves within me and I dance. Music begins to flow through my ears; I listen. Your creativity captures me and the Holy Spirit runs through my nerves; I dance. Oh what a beautiful universal language! I dance through this mystery of beauty and I see your eyes. Notes flutter in my mind like wings of butterflies.... everyone colorful, everyone unique, everyone beautiful, everyone one moving in a different rhythm; flying in one gust of wind. Authentic community.

I can't get over the beauty of His eyes...

Hearing the voices of his children calling out to him, I walked in the back of the room. The beauty of hunger among my brothers and sisters brought joyful tears to my eyes. I sat and closed my eyes in full relaxation, humbling myself before my Father. Praying, "I want to feel the wind in my hair with you," a breeze came upon my face and my hair softly flew back. Everything went silent and black, my body felt light. The black spun into grey and this gold light leaked through these tiny openings. What was the source of this light, I wanted to see! I didn't care about the scars on my face or the guilt in my eyes. I need to stop gazing at myself, for He has already healed me. I am open to his beauty, I am fully open to his love. No longer do I dwell inside as a slave to this artificial fabric. I felt His hand gently run across my face. The veil that was grazing my face was lifted. My eyes locked on His. Everything was bright and there were rays of gold over His face. I could only see His eyes. OH THE MULTITUDE OF LOVELINESS!!! As I gaze like a dove I begin to sense my destiny... I belong to my lover and his desire is for me.

God's Love

I'm running into an intimacy of love that surpasses all understanding. Through our minds he engages our hearts. My heart throbs and swells with joy and my face is radiant. My eyes are set on this perfect lover. My distracted eyes gaze at his beauty and his heart is ravished with love. I do things because he loves me, not for his love. Forget all rituals and works, because that does nothing but distract our hearts. For all he wants is the intimacy of our love. All he wants is to hold me in his arms and comfort me; for me to rest in his perfect love. Deal with the vulnerability of letting him love you. The revelation of His love comes greatly through human failures. All I want to do is simply respond to his love. The foundation of our hearts must be built on the love of God. Respond to the initiation of God. He is dancing wildly and singing over my life. He is the relentless hound of heaven. He will never stop. He has the perfect ability to love. Embrace it.

The Intimacy of God's Love

Hunger for the depth of who God is. Get wisdom and get understanding through hunger. In all your getting, get wisdom. Embrace and you will receive. Through our minds, he engages our hearts; rest is a posture of our heart.  Bring our hearts into stillness, into the rest of Mary's mind. Lay everything you have at His feet. Break the striving. He loves us too much to let us go change the world without intimacy. Don't be distracted by serving, for you will be driven out mentally. Be cautious of where your heart is when you are serving. We don't serve to attain his love, we serve because he loves us. I'm not working for love, I'm working of love. The deepest intimacy of love is in rest. Rest in his arms and receive his love.

My Shepherd

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Psalm 23

Stop relying on humanistic help. We as humans are like sheep.... we have nothing to defend ourselves, but only that of the shepherd. He leads us in everything. Rest, lean on him, and keep your eyes focused on him. The face of Jesus is revival. The presence of Jesus is transformation.

C.S. Lewis

"If I discover within myself a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another."

The Mystery of Beauty

I am rooted and grounded in this unfailing love that surpasses knowledge; which makes my eyes swell up with tears as I gaze at the mysterious beauty of this world. Being here makes me hunger for knowledge of the mystery of beauty. I can't even handle this multitude of loveliness. My face turns radiant and my heart throbs and swells with joy. I want to be the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit; with a love more delightful than wine.
