my body exhausted
my mind drifting away into space
my Father picks me up
and my head lays on his shoulder
i hear his heart beat
mine begins to synchronize
his hand moves my hair from my face
he kisses my head
he carries me up the stairs
lies me down on my bed
opens the window
a cool breeze fills the room
the wind full of angels
pulling the covers up to my neck
he sits there
caressing my back
serenades me to sleep
i then rest in his love
