Blackbird - The Beatles

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free.

Blackbird fly Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird fly Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.

Into The Wild

"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. If you want to get more out of life, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter style of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its incredible beauty.... One of the greatest sights on earth, the Grand Canyon, something every American should see at least once in his life. But for some reason incomprehensible to me you wanted nothing but to bolt for home as quickly as possible, right back to the same situation which you see day after day after day. I fear you will follow this same inclination in the future and thus fail to discover all the wonderful things that God has placed around us to discover. Don't settle down and sit in one place. Move around, be nomadic, make each day a new horizon. You are going to live a long time, and it would be a shame if you didn't take the opportunity to revolutionize your life and move into an entirely new realm of experience.
You are wrong if you think joy emanates only or principally from human relationships. God has placed it all around us. It is in everything and anything we might experience. We just have to have the courage to turn against our habitual lifestyle and engage in unconventional living.
My point is that you do not need me or anyone else around to bring this new kind of light in your life. It is simply waiting out there for you to grasp it, and all you have to do is reach for it. The only person you are fighting is yourself and your stubborness to engage in new circumstances."

Pablo Picasso

"We all know that art is not truth. Art is a lie that makes us realize truth, at least that is given us to understand. The artist must know the manner whereby to convince others of the truthfulness of his lies."
Pablo Picasso

Tessa Star

This is a painting I did in the summer of 2007. It is of my little cousin Tessa Star. It is acrylic on canvas. I have many fun memories with this girl:) This is my first portrait I have painted and it is one of my favorites.

Maurice Doherty

Conceptual art is art in which the concepts or ideas involved in the work take precedence over traditional aesthetic and material concerns.  Maurice Doherty is a wonderful conceptual artist working with sculpture and performance.  He deals with the ordinary issues of everyday life.

Batman vs. Superman

I would have to say that Batman is clearly a better super hero than Superman and if they were in a fight, Batman would win.  See, Superman is not even from earth.  Yes he is still a hero, but he was blessed with super powers because he was simply born another planet with possibly millions of others like him. He is one of the last of his kind, which brings me to my point that he doesn't need to have the smarts to use his naturally gifted abilities.  Bruce Wayne, on the other hand, is one of the world's greatest scientist.  He relies purely on his scientific knowledge, detective skills, and athletic ability.  He has mastered martial arts.  Of course, his incredible wealth does help him posses intricate gadgets which help him tremendously when dealing with enemies.  Clark Kent didn't have to work at all to become incredibly strong.  Let's face it, Batman is filthy rich, so if his smarts, gadgets, and incredible athletic ability fall short, he could just buy massive amounts of kyptonite and wipe Superman out.  End of story. I do like Smallville though. Good show:)

Abortion

One:
Most abortions are done at 7 weeks gestation(when babies hearts have already started beating, brain waves begin waving, and have distinctly visibly fingers, arms, eyes, legs, feet, toes, and ears) or later.

Two:
Babies go through unimaginable pain of an abortionist ripping and tearing their body apart without anesthesia.

Three:
Most women who have had an abortion experience extreme bleeding, premature delivery, and miscarriage when she decides that she wants to have a baby.

Four:
The unnatural abrupt to hormone production brought on by abortion can vastly increase the mother's risk for breast cancer.

Five
Most couples break up following a shared decision to abort an unwanted child. It's all true.

I know it is a matter of a women's right, but it is not our jobs as humans to be the judge on who lives and who dies. That is God's job. Abortion is taking a life, whether you believe life starts at conception or not. The heart of a child starts beating 24 days after conception. People even have abortions after 24 weeks. By 24 weeks you can be born and have a great chance of surviving. It is not just tissue, it is a life. It is just like killing a baby after he or she is born. Just think about it, the consequence of sex is a baby (normally this should be a happy result, but now there are many who would kill to not have a baby), so you should know when you do have sex that there is a chance of that happening. So all I'm saying that if you are not ready to have a child, don't risk a life on a condom. As for sex education goes, they should tell you that condoms are not reliable because kids get it stuck in their mind that they are completely safe, so they have no worries. Then when they find out they are pregnant and are in sudden shock, they turn toward the easiest way out, abortion. A lot of kids don't even know that they are taking a life because abortion clinics say that it is only a piece of tissue.

So you don't believe that life doesn't start till the baby is out of the stomach, breathing on his own. Well, does that mean that a person who needs to rely on medical equipment isn't technically alive? So the person is really living right? The person has been living so he is alive. The baby is connected to the woman by the umbilical cord and has a heart beat. Since the baby is a part of a living human being the baby himself is living. Just because the unborn child can't breath on his own does not mean that he is not alive. When a pregnant women is murdered, the murderer would be charged for two lives. Why is it that the mother isn't charged for one by having an abortion? A women who is 8 weeks pregnant who is murdered.... that person wont be charged with 2 counts of murder. This is ridiculous. By eight weeks, the baby has a heartbeat, a developing brain, fingers, toes, and can feel pain. Even so, women still get abortions after 24 weeks. They should be charged for murder.

I personally am against the death penalty. Maybe I'll write a whole other note on the topic later, but i'll make my point brief. It is not a humans place to be in control of another ones life. No matter what a person has done, they should not be killed. I believe they should live in solitary confinement and suffer as a consequence of their actions, but we should not be the judge of their lives. God is above the government. Its a shame that God is not as important in the government anymore, but anyways, here is my point.... There are many who are against the death penalty and pro choice, so they would rather kill an innocent being than a murderer. This doesn't seem right at all.

If you are Pro Choice, then are you Pro Geronticide? Geronticide is killing the elderly. They are old and some aren't mentally there, so why not. I bet that you would think that you would never be for Geronticide, then why be for abortion? It's the same thing. It's even taking a life that hasn't even been lived. Why destroy a dream of a completely innocent human being?

I know that if I ended up pregnant right now, I admit the thought of abortion would come in my mind because it is such a easy way out. I am not going to do something that results in something I can't handle during this point of my life and abortion is not even an option for me. I feel absolutely terrible for admitting that the thought of abortion would come up, but it is true. I can tell you now that there is no way in my heart that I would be able to do such a thing. Everyone is selfish, and I just can't believe there is that option out in this world today to decide whether a living thing that is apart of you lives or dies. I tell you now I would never have an abortion, but lets say I had an abortion and later on in my life after I have had kids I would think... wow my kids would have an older brother or sister. I would wonder what this child would have grown up to be. There would not be a single day in my life that I wouldn't think of this unborn child. I would never go through with abortion and I strongly am for Pro Life. God creates the living to live. God's law says not to murder. Abortion is murder. Whether you think the baby is alive or not by a certain time, I guarantee you that God has a plan for this life even before it is living.
