Your beauty
I want to see the beauty you see
The beauty that ravishes your heart
Cleanse my eyes of the lies of this world
And break through all my insecurities
They no longer have a hold of me
For my identity is in you
You captivate my heart
And I stand in awe of your loveliness
I want to be overflowed
With the thick aroma of your presence
The beautiful fragrance of a rose
The colorful petal that falls on dirt
With all that I am
I want to be your lily
The unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit

Staring off in a gaze, i hear the chatter of celebrities exposed lives and boredom stares at me. Laughing; saying I'm a fool. I stare back and say, "I'm not made for this world."
My eyes catch a reflection of light off my glass; the chatter rolls on of financial problems and the world stares at me. Telling me I;m dumb. I stare back and say, "I'm not made for you."
What people have made you to be is not who you are world, so why listen to those who fill your mind with insecurities? World, I have seen you change. Where have you gone?
Why do I have to search for your beauty; traveling miles to see you? I trespass to taste your loveliness and see what God has created you to be.
I close my eyes; riding in the elevator of my mind; diving in the floors of Eden. God rests here, in my garden. I dance around Him, falling more and more in love.
Nothing can stop me; I know my place and its out of this world. i know my beauty and it's His love. A love that I was made for; a love that will last beyond time.

walking through the field of stars
picking them up one by one
my handful warm and soft
i cup my hands
as rays of light shoot
through my fingers
i spin around
throwing them in the air
like feathers they fall
i dance around until i lay
in fields of starlight
never grey
a touch of a butterfly
and colors spin
with the wind
i am incandescently happy
surrounded by
the twinkles in my eye
picking them up one by one
